Connacht Championship Replay
PRESS RELEASE FROM CONNACHT COUNCIL GAA
The Connacht GAA Championship Senior Football Final replay will now be played on Sunday 17th July at 3.30pm in MacHale Park Castlebar. Galway and Roscommon will have a second day out to decide who will take home the Nestor Cup following their 1-10 to 0-13 draw in Pearse Stadium. The last time these counties met in a Provincial final, it also finished in a draw with Galway prevailing after extra time in the replay.
