Saturday the 13th of October at the Connacht GAA Centre we are delighted to host the National Hurling Development Provincial Coaching Workshop for 2018. It will be a practical station based workshop with participants rotating to each station, with the theme of the workshop being “Building the Essentials into every Session”. The list of guest coaches on the morning makes for impressive reading:

Jamesie O’Connor – Clare

Seanie McMahon – Clare

Brian Hogan – Kilkenny

Derek McGrath – Waterford

Christie O’Connor – Clare

These will all be supported at their stations by local full time GAA coaching officers.

The stations will incorporate:

• Goalkeeping
• Catching & Striking
• Hooking & Blocking
• Rising & Hand passing
• Defending
• Attacking
