The Connacht GAA Football Championship Senior Semi-Final, Mayo v Galway, takes place this Saturday, 18^th June at 7pm in MacHale Park.

Mayo, who have already accounted for London in their championship opener, will be taking on a Galway team who are making their championship debut in 2016. Galway will be bidding for their first win over Mayo since 2008, when they defeated Mayo in the Connacht final in MacHale Park, (2-12 to 1-14). Mayo, themselves, will be looking to reach their sixth Connacht Championship final in a row and also to be the first team in the province to capture six Connacht GAA Senior Football Championships in a row. Both teams will be finalising preparations this week with teams to be announced on Thursday at 12noon.
