Mezzino Connacht Post Primary Schools Football – Senior A Final (Refixed)
Connacht GAA has confirmed the rescheduled date for the Mezzino PPS Senior A Football Final between St. Gerald’s DLS College and St. Muredach’s College following the earlier weather postponement.
New Date: Friday, 20th February 2026
Throw-in: 7:00pm
Venue: Connacht GAA COE
Supporters are reminded that all tickets issued for the original fixture remain valid for the refixed game. Thank you to players, schools, officials, and supporters for their cooperation in rearranging this fixture.
The B Final on Friday night saw St Nathy’s overcome St Josephs 2-10 to 1-8 in a very exciting game at the COE. Highlights can be viewed here:

The C Final was played in deteriorating conditions on Saturday afternoon and saw Gortnor Abbey defeated by a very determined Balla outfit at the COE. Highlights:

In the D Final played in Bonnicinlon, Coláiste Naomh Bhreandáin claimed the title, holding off a strong late comeback from St Tiernan’s College to win 1-16 to 1-13
