It’s a bumper weekend of County Championship action around the province this weekend.

In Sligo both the Junior and Senior finals will take place, with Easkey and Owenmore Gaels meeting at 3.30pm in Cloonacool Community Park on Saturday and holders Tourlestrane playing Tubbercurry at 4pm in Enniscrone on Sunday.

Castlebar Mitchells and Ballintubber replay their county semi final at 7pm on Saturday evening in MacHale Park, with a place in the county final against Breaffy the prize on offer. The teams couldn’t be seperated 1-12 apiece last weekend.

It’s also Senior County Final Day in Roscommon, holders St Brigid’s playing Clann na nGael in Dr Hyde Park at 4pm on Sunday in a hotly anticipated clash.

In Leitrim this Sunday Annaduff and Fenagh St Caillins face off in the Intermediate Final at 1pm before the Senior decider between Achadh Mhaoláin and Mohill throws in at 3pm. Achadh Mhaoláin got the better of St Mary’s in their semi 1-12 to 2-7 and Mohill were very impressive in their 3-19 to 0-11 defeat of Glencar/Manorhamilton in their last game.

In Galway Salthill Knocknacarra and Milltown meet in Pearse Stadium at 3.30pm on Sunday in their replayed County Senior Football Championship Quarter Final after they couldn’t be separated 0-12 all the first day out.
